HR/Payroll Specialist (Part-Time)

We’re looking for someone who will embrace a corporate culture that inspires and attracts highly talented and service minded employees to become part of our family. 
This position provides support for various functions within the organization including Payroll Processing, Benefits Coordination, New-Hire Paperwork and On-boarding.

Human Resource function

  • Prepares and processes new-hire paperwork and orientation, perform onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Keep employee records up to date by processing employee status changes in timely fashion.
  • Administer employee health and benefit plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and insurance providers. Resolve benefits-related problems.
  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Maintain the employee handbook and other HR policies

Payroll function

  • Process bi-weekly payroll. Compile payroll data such as hours worked, vacation time, reimbursements, commissions, garnishments, insurance and 401(k) deductions.
  • Process transfer of payroll data and 401(k) contribution data to our providers.
  • Compile internal management reports from payroll system software.
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, and recommending corrective actions. Perform annual census reports.
