Appalachia Technologies to host a live event, Appalachia Advance2023, on November 2, 2023

Grantville, PA:  On Thursday, November 2, Appalachia Technologies will host its 2nd annual in-person cybersecurity summit at the Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course.  This free event will bring together regional business owners, CIOs, CISOs, and IT Security Leaders.  

Advance2023 will be led by Appalachia’s top cybersecurity experts as well as global cybersecurity vendors and community leaders to update and educate attendees on the latest threats to organizational security while offering practical solutions. This full-day event features general talks and smaller group workshops focused on executive and technical topics.

The event will begin with Joshua Copeland, Security Director at AT&T, sharing Unpopular Opinions, sure to generate dialogue among leaders and technical minds alike.  FBI Special Agent Daniel A. Sherry will help close out the day by educating attendees on current threats and attacks, as well as when and how a business should engage the FBI should they face an attack in Cybersecurity Collaboration: Strengthening Defenses with the FBI.

Appalachia Advance2023 will feature several other educational sessions on best practices and the most pressing and challenging topics in cybersecurity and IT leadership.  Speakers and presentations include:
