What to Know -
A Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is often thought of as a full-time employee with an extensive amount of experience and knowledge - and a high salary requirement. A vCISO is an option to benefit from the contributions of a CISO without the full-time salary. In fact, vCISOs an often pair with an existing CISO or ISO to support their efforts for a period of time to act as a stop-gap during a transition or as a fresh set of eyes.

The benefits provided by vCISOs cannot be understated. And for many, it was thought their organization was too small to even consider a CISO. Now organizations of all sizes, industries, or levels of security maturity can reap the benefits and make it fit.
